Jean Peshel, EA – Owner 

As an Enrolled Agent,  Jean is considered to be one of America's  tax experts. She has earned the highest credential the IRS awards. Individuals who obtain this  elite status must adhere to strict ethical standards and complete 72 hours of continuing education courses every three years. She is able to fully represent her clients before the IRS and the MN Department of Revenue.​ In addition, Jean has a Bachelor of Accounting Degree and 20+ years of Income Tax & Bookkeeping experience.  ​​She worked for H&R Block in Duluth both as Director of the Executive Tax Service and as a licensed tax instructor. 

 

She is the original owner of the Ely H&R Block franchise and Peshel Accounting, opening in 1996.  Jean has received many commendations from H&R Block including 1997 Region 26Satellite of the Year.
